I have been feeling so drained and just fatigue lately, and kept wondering if I am getting sick or there is something really wrong with me. I always been energetic and clear minded, but lately I feel sluggish, foggy and just unclear on anything. It’s like something is covering my mind and I can’t see through it. It feels like I am losing my ability to think clearly and stay focused. The harder I try to focus the faster I drain myself of energy, and the less I accomplish.
It started to scare me and it still confusing at times, but I really wanted to get a handle on my own (in)sanity, so I started to research other people and their experiences with extreme fatigue.
One site I found and felt really in alignment with is www.lonerwolf.com where I finally felt like I am not alone and I am not going crazy. Reading many of the articles from Luna and Sol brought me a sense of peace and hope, remembering that there is so much I get to learn and that I get to continue to trust this journey I am on.
The journey of self-discovery through healing from a very depth of my being, which I did not know was hiding scars of the past and were so impactful on my life. Realizing that my journey of healing just begun and I am nowhere near of the finish line opened my eyes to the possibility that we are not meant to be healed into perfection, but we are meant to be perfect in the moment of that healing process every step of the way.
There is no beginning or end, only right here and right now, and this moment where we are experiencing ourselves is exactly where we need to be.
Healing does not mean that we are f…ed up and broken, only that we are human and we have experiences that left us with scars, which are to help us to develop our own character and to guide us to our next chapter in our lives.
Whether we feel sadness, anxiety, joy, frustration, excitement, loneliness, or connection in the moment we always have a choice. A choice to either give up control to our emotions or to learn to be still and mindful of what we are experiencing and become the observer in our own movie of life. This choice will allow us to be present and learn the power of awareness. Luna and Sol speaks so clearly of mindfulness and explains mindful self-compassion as the combination of mindfulness + self-love.
Self-love is a greatly spoken topic these days and without it we cannot experience through love, I don’t care how hard we try. Self-love allows us to see things differently and helps us uncover the light in others in return. But first we must surrender to our own scars and allow the healing process to take place within, no matter how uncomfortable and painful it might feel at times. There is no shortcut, no easy fix or pill for it. It is a lifelong, enlightening process of ups and downs, ins and outs, tears and laughter, and we are only a choice away from really understanding the power of our own scars….
So whether we like it or not, we are all going to learn along the way, however how much we suffer in the process is going to be affected by our individual choice to either resist or surrender to our own destiny.
