When meditating, calming the mind is a common goal for many. As I practiced for so many years my experiences varied day to day, but one thing remained the same; there were times when I could not calm myself nor was able to connect with source.
As I took more time to understand our way of connecting to source and about our energy field, I learned the importance of clearing and balancing my chakras in order to meditate the most effective way.
Having emotional, mental or any other blocks that interrupt the natural flow of energy in our chakras can cause spiritual, emotional as well as physical problems. It is all connected, just like each and every one of us. We are not separate from each other, just like our chakras. They cannot work in harmony if any one of them are blocked and our health is affected by these blocks as well.
